We are providing the funding for the Gospel Rescue Mission to build a resource room in their new men's facility. This will give homeless citizens in our community access to computers and other tools to help them find a job and get their lives back on track.
Partnering with the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation, our club gave the resources to provide 12 thanksgiving dinners to families facing cancer.
With the Rotary Peace Pole Project we planted peace poles with the message: "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in mutiple languages. Look for them around town!
Both the Noon and Sunrise clubs helped build and upkeep the Rotary Nature Preserve at Tice Woods.
Our club members regularly help serve breakfast to those less fortunate at the Coopertive Ministries Kitchen.
Rotary has help erect flag poles around Yamhill County
Our club has a commitment with Rotary International to help with their campaign to eradicate polio from Earth. Our ongoing commitment has helped immunize 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries.
We sponsor and work with high school students dedicated to serving our community..
Each year our club recognizes special teachers in our community and award them.
Each year our club brings the national four-way-test speech contest by working with our area Middle Schools. We send one middle schooler to the state tournament every year.
Every Holiday Season Rotarians from McMinnville take low income childern shopping for Christmas gifts for their families.
The Youth Exchange sponsored by the Rotary Club of McMinnville has made it possible for local high students to experience life in countries including Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Thailand, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chili, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. The Club program has also hosted inbound students from Germany, Switzerland, France, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Chili, Peru, Mexico, and Ecuador.
